All of the animals on our sales list were either selected and purchased by us or raised on our farm here in the heart of Wheat Ridge Colorado.  We are not brokers. Every alpaca is friendly and easy to handle.

Hance Ranch is nestled at the east base of the Rocky Mountains, minutes from downtown Denver and only 40 minutes west of Denver International Airport, a half mile north of Interstate 70.

Our breeding program was started  as a retirement project, and has been in operation since 1990.  We have a number of females, that want to be bred, both Huacaya and Suri, all are “ARI Registered". We have Bolivian, Chilean, and Peruvian blood lines with most of the wonderful natural colors.

Improvement of conformation and fleece quality have been our prime objectives.  Our hands on breeding ensures valid dates on bred females.  We have always been a major "support system" for the animals we have sold and the breeders we sold to.

Mary Hance, our daughter-in-law,  & our son Ken Hance have moved to Tucson, AZ for his job, and our grandson, A J, is in his third year at Western State, in Gunnison, CO.   Bob & Barb can no longer handle the HANCE RANCH operation, so we have had to find helpers.  We sincerely need to find homes for our beloved critters.

      Services include:

  •      Multi-sale discounts
